For the last 9 years, I have been cooking all over New Zealand, Australia and the United States as a private chef providing in-home dining and cooking for retreats, making special occasion cakes, creating recipes for food brands and bars/restaurants, organising food styling for web, film, and TVCs, and teaching people how to cook and bake.

During covid I cooked weekly meals for the rich and famous – some travelling from LA to Wellington, NZ for the film industry. I enjoyed the challenge of some very restrictive dietary requirements while still cooking seasonally, but I’m going back to my passions – teaching and mentoring, recipe development and food styling, health coaching and holistic wellness – including my artisan food range: essential(E) | real food from me to you.

Cooking and baking are in my blood. I have been in the kitchen since I was able to stand on a stool to reach the bench (counter)! As an adoptee, I’ve only recently found out my biological family line is made up of bakers, chefs, butchers, restaurant and bar owners, teachers/coaches, and entrepreneurs.

Not having this knowledge of my whakapapa (ancestry), it’s incredible I was pulled to turn my love of food and cooking into a career in my 30s, and to naturally shift into Health Coaching to compliment my skills as a chef and cooking tutor.

Not only do I love cheffing and Health Coaching, I love teaching people how to cook whole real food, and sharing my love of food through travel. Food is medicine and so is connection. What better way to learn about different cultures, and see the world, than connecting through food.

And while On the Eaten Track Food Tours are still on hold while we are in pandemic phase as soon as Covid is endemic, I will look at re-organising for USA: San Francisco, New York City, and Nashville; and then look to add Australia; Bali; and beyond!

I do still take bookings for bespoke personal MasterClasses, Cooking Demos, and Cooking Parties.
